Cayuga (Kohler)  Drag Strip

A 1956 Advertising Flyer

In 1956 the Brantford Piston Pushers, along with 9 other car clubs founded
the Ontario Timming Association and started Kohler Dragway that year.

Cayuga Dragstrip was originally called Kohler Dragway (Sometimes Kohler Airstrip), situated in the hamlet of Kohler,
a little southwest of Cayuga. In the 60's it became Superboss Dragway, then later it became Cayuga Dragway.
The above picture was taken as the new tower for Superboss Dragway was being built in 1966.

The races where originally started by a flagman, often John Dundass from the Piston Pushers had the job. Then in the
60's, Don Douglas & Larry Rooke from the Piston Pushers bought and installed the first Chrondex timing lights.
