GLENHYRST ART GALLERY of BRANT

Glenhyrst was bequeathed to the City of Brantford by Mr. Edmund Cockshutt in 1957,
he wished that it be a place for artistic and cultural pursuits. In 1986 the Glenhyrst
(Art Gallery of Brant) was established from its origin as a storefront gallery in downtown Brantford.

I wanted to paint Glenhyrst in a moody somber setting, matching the rolling emotions
which seems to have plagued this potentially wonderful facility for some years now.
