BRANTFORD FARMERS MARKET
Each town center had it's weekly Farmer's Market ,
here they brought their fruit, vegetables and flowers to sell and for the
rest of us it was the town's social meeting place.
One of my first recollections was of the Brantford market, we lived just around the corner
on Dalhousie street. Saturdays I would go to the market to sell a few old baskets that I had collected.
I recall the bus stops along Market St., Bill's Smoke Shop, where we played pinball machines
and the Chipwagon across from Woolworth by the public rest rooms on Colborne street.
