This view is just up from Wilkes Dam and part of Brant Park on a warm & sultry late afternoon.
In the 1960's we used to cross the dam to go swimming at what was then known as Riley's Flats
named after the former owner of the land. Today the area is a favorite for fishing, canoeing, hicking and camping.
