SUNSET DRIVE IN

On Saturday afternoons I would wash my '55 Ford Victoria, then pick up my girlfriend and head for the Drive In movies.
The trunk space in my friend's '57 Ford was huge, so he was usually chosen to sneak the rest of our buddies into the show.
I don't remember much about any of the movies we saw, but I do recall that it seemed forever for the little cartoon guy on
the screen to announce "It's Show Time".
